Psychology department

Our psychology department can assist you in your coping process during your hospital stay.

What can we help you with?

Treatment in the hospital aims to take care of your physical health but can also put pressure on your psychological well-being. Both you and your loved ones can be confronted with feelings that leave a heavy impression. All kinds of feelings such as fear, anger and sadness can throw you off balance. This can cause a disruption in your personal life but also in relationships with others or at your work situation.

Sometimes these feelings and thoughts can be difficult to discuss in your environment. If you wish, a psychologist can help you understand and place these feelings. As long as you are admitted in the hospital, you can rely on this psychological support. Afterwards, if necessary, we look together for an appropriate further follow-up.

You can contact the psychologists for questions related to quitting smoking, processing a diagnosis, at times of emotional crisis, guidance during your oncological treatment or during your rehabilitation. In addition, we are open to explore together any request for help in connection with your psychological well-being and look for an appropriate offer of help.
